USD 320 provides transportation to those students who qualify. Your student qualifies for transportation if he/she meets at least one of the following requirements:
1.) lives outside the Wamego city limit, but inside the USD 320 boundary. See Boundary Maps
2.) has an IEP (Individual Education Plan) that qualifies transportation as a needed related service.
Shuttle Service is provided in both the morning and afternoon, between the four schools.
Shuttle bus service is provided to help decrease the distance in-town students have to walk to their attendance center. Students may board a bus at the school nearest to their home and ride to the school they attend.
Behavior on the Bus or at Bus Stops—To insure safety and protect the rights of other bus passengers, misconduct on the bus or at shuttle stops will not be tolerated. When a bus driver or bus stop monitor observes misconduct, the disciplinary procedures as outlined in the USD 320 Bus Discipline Plan will be followed.
